The handlebars are made from 7010 T6 Aluminium alloy. Renthal has exclusive rights to this specially developed alloy, for the manufacture of handlebars.

High impact strength, lightweight and vibration absorbing are all qualities exhibited by Renthal's excellent quality handlebars. Renthal have shot peened the surface finish to help prevent fatigue failure and the ends have been knurled to increase bonding between bar and grip.

There is no knurling in the clamp area as this could cause a stress riser and lead to fatigue failure. The anodising of the handlebar is a 15 step process and forms an integral coating giving protection against corrosion.

Renthal's pioneered bonded lightweight single bolt clamping system for the cross-brace, greatly increases strength whilst still allowing flex.
